Love is what makes the world go around as they say. I shot this engagement session at the 2008 International balloon fiesta here in Albuquerque, New Mexico for good friends Russ and Faith.
I have to admit, I’m a very cheesy person and a hopeless romantic. I often find myself so engaged in photo sessions like these because I was once in love. I was once in this situation. It just tends to be difficult at times when you remember the good ol’ days when you were the subject and not the photographer.
The love the these two have for each other is amazing and I envy them for that. Passion is a big word for me. I again am a very passionate person, when i find something or someone I like, I will fight for it and do my best to keep it or have it, but most often than not, I lose it.
This photo is a tribute for all the love that i have, my homage to cupid, my way of showing the world that there is still love out there and yes this photo is proof that the love we have can make the world go round both literally and figuratively.
this is the photo, the story, the moment it clicked!
