Does anyone have [Ridgid R4512](https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/10-inch-cast-iron-table-saw)? I just picked it up a few days ago and love it. It is a complete breath of fresh air compared to my POS Menard’s nightmare I started woodworking with.
*HOWEVER*I can’t seem to crank the blade’s height down lower than around 1.25 inches. It gets to a certain point, and the then the gears start skipping. My [old saw](https://www.menards.com/main/tools/power-tools/power-saws/table-saws/performax-reg-10-portable-table-saw-with-folding-stand/240-3602/p-1565677815318.htm), where literally every aspect was sub-standard at least did this, so I figured it was standard.
Is the Ridgid saw supposed to be able to pull the blade back into the cabinet?
There was a gigantic chunk of styrofoam wrapped around the motor that I missed while assembling. Works fine now. Whoops!
