I made a plywood track today, waxed her up slick and ripped a piece of ply with it. Obv the two ripped pieces matched tight, I slid the two ripped pieces till the high spots were resting on each other and I got about 3/64th of a gap on the low spots. That seems pgood to me, I don’t think I can do better on the contractor saw. But I have to ask, what does a real track saw get? Is it perfectly straight for the whole 8 foot?
