V-groove for breadboard ends? / Dealing with breadboard gap?

I am finishing up the largest tabletops I’ve done yet (full 9ftx4ft dining table) and ended up with some parts of my breadboard ends having a 1mm gap. Obviously filler won’t due. I’ve read some places online people recomending using a V-groove to emphasize the breadboards a bit and detract from the gap. Does anyone have samples of this? I couldn’t find any online.

But while on the subject, does anyone else have input what to do about the gap other than embrace it?
